Grace Edquist is a New York–based arts and culture writer and the copy director of Vogue magazine. She’s written about pop-folk It girl Marisol, Bauhaus master weaver Anni Albers, and the cartoonist Aline Kominsky-Crumb. She is also the co-creator of acrostic puzzles. (You should try them; they’re fun.)
